Matthew Booth

Matthew has recently joined the firm in order to establish our new in house costs department. Matthew has 10 years costs experience, having acted for both Claimant and Defendant firms. He has a full range of expertise from negotiation of costs to representation at costs applications and detailed assessment hearings. Based in the Bolton office, Matthew is responsible for the recovery of our clients' costs, dealing with all aspects of the technical costs issues involved.

Dave Coombes

David joined the London office in January 1996.

He has over 11 years personal injury experience dealing with neck, back and general orthopedic injuries. David successfully litigates personal injury matters arising out of road traffic accidents.

Angela Gathercole

Angela joined the firm in May 1998, and is based in the London Office.

As a litigation Manager she has many years experience in general civil litigation including over 13 years experience in successfully litigating personal injury claims.

Angela’s specialist area comprises catastrophic, serious injury and fatal claims arising out of road traffic accidents along with accidents from work and public liability claims

Vicky Jones

Vicky joined Waring & Co as an ILEX trainee legal executive in our Bolton office in January 2003. She specialises in debt recovery and personal injury claimant work and also plays an active role in the arranging of credit hire/repair vehicles to clients that have been involved in non- fault road traffic accidents.

Howard Markland

Howard is a Solicitor based from our Bolton office. Admitted in 1981, Howard was a partner of a large city law firm before joining us in March 2004. Howard is a specialist in recovering compensation arising from catastrophic and fatal road traffic accident claims.

Working within our Bolton Office, Ged Quine has over 16 years experience within the legal field. Joining the firm in 2002, he is a litigation manager specialising is road traffic accident claims, dealing with a full spectrum of injury claims from whiplash to brain injury multi track claims. He also deals with public and employers liability with a good portion of his work coming in through client recommendation.
